Michail Antonio faces a lengthy lay-off after suffering a recurrence of his knee injury.
The winger was out for five weeks with a medial ligament problem before making a brief return to action as a late substitute against Blackpool on New Year’s Day.
However, Stuart Gray today confirmed that Antonio has aggravated the injury. He said he would not be rushed back, as might have happened the first time around, and added: “It will be a long while before we get him back in action.”
