Goals from Lucas Joao and Almen Abdi saw Wednesday under-23s fight back from one-down to beat their Sheff U counterparts 2-1 at Hillsborough on Tuesday evening.
We fell behind against the run of play just before half time but Joao levelled from close range midway through the second period and Abdi completed the comeback 15 minutes from time with an excellent effort from just inside the penalty area.
Wednesday, who also included Marco Matias in our starting line-up, stay top of the PDL2 North table after this derby victory.
