Matias wins Goal of the Year award

Marco Matias’ spectacular strike at Leeds last August has been voted the Mitre Goal of the Year at tonight’s Football League awards. Matias beat four other finalists to carry off the trophy, the winner being decided from votes cast by the audience at the presentations in Manchester.
